在本課程中,學生會學習餐飲英文的相關詞彙和餐飲英文的知識,熟悉餐飲服務中常見之情境和英文對話,學習適用於正式場合之溝通技能與禮儀,並發展與同儕和同事互助合作之能力。 課程主題包含: 餐廳訂位、餐點與飲料介紹、點餐、抱怨要求處理、結帳、飯店訂房、櫃台接待、設施介紹、客房服務、停車洗衣服務、電話對話、旅遊指引等。

The course aims to enrich students’ vocabulary and deepen their understanding of English in the hospitality industry, familiarize students with situations and conversations used in hospitality, develop students’ appropriate communication skills and etiquette for formal situations, and improve students’ ability to cooperate and communicate with peers and coworkers.
The topics of the course include restaurant reservation, explaining food and drinks, taking orders, dealing with complaints and requests, settling bills, hotel reservation, hotel reception, introducing facilities, room service, valet and laundry service, telephone conversation, and concierge service.
