| 課程概述 |
The purpose of this course is to provide students an accessible introduction to academic research, an understanding for what research activities are like, by engaging students in several roles within a variety of mini-studies across a range of research design types, both quantitative and qualitative.

1. Offer students a basic concept about doing quantitative and qualitative studies and help students actually propose one.
2. Provide students a basic concept of how to find their research topics, search for literature online, and cite their works in APA style.
3. Help students to read and evaluate the research of others.
4. Offer students a chance to present their studies.
5. Offer students an introduction to the ethical issues, principles, and conventions in conducting and reporting research
