Picture books offer a variety of genres, rich language, colorful characters, and interesting storylines. They are the perfect tools to enhance learners’ English language learning and their understanding of the English culture. This course aims to present different picture books earning skill sheets and activities that encompass a variety of important language skills.

1 Introduction & orientation This class focuses on picture books in every class -Introduction & Applications of English picture books (Website sources introduced) -How to pick stories -How to tell a story -How to make lesson plans -Songs, Rhymes and Games -Reading aloud English picture books -Author introducing -English picture book awards -Nonfiction English picture books -Practice telling stories -Teaching storytelling to kids at elementary schools
Mid-term: Storytime/ Reading aloud
