本課程主要在引導學生深入、立體認識台灣歷史，引領學生取得台灣歷史鎖鑰，學習實用、實際、寬廣、的台灣歷史知識；從生活中學習，培育學生寬廣的台灣歷史視野，進而養成深具台灣主體意識兼具世界觀的公民。
