The subject aims to provide students the capability to engage an independent study on the topic assigned by his/her advisor. It will facilitate students’ research skills and experience, as well as their knowledge on the topic.

1.working with course advisor to form the research topic, or on the assigned topic by advisor,
2.engaging a comprehensive literature survey of the topic,
3.structuring the report for the research topic, and
4.writing a report of the study, and publishing it at a peer-reviewed international academic conference in the next semester.
