| 課程概述 |
This course focus on the following issues: What is Globalization? What does this understanding count? What can we learn from the understandings? And what can we do to cope with Globalization?
Various issues/topics concerning Globalization will be introduced, explored, and discussed. Students will present their leaning/reflection during the classes as well as a report at the end of the semester.
本課程將從社會科學，人文科學及自然科學的觀點來說明全球化議題。本課程除了課程講授外，更鼓勵學生上課討論提問的方式來探討下列全球化議題。例如：何謂「全球化」?「全球化」與「國際化」有何異同?「全球化」的內涵為何?「全球化」對於國際貿易帶來的利弊與影響為何?更重要的是「全球化」對於人類及地球的影響為何等等攸關全人類的問題。本課程意在擴大學生國際化學術與實用面的視野與瞭解；強化學生掌握職場能力並強化競爭力。

本課程將從全球經濟、環保及政治等面向切入， 深入探討並了解這些命題「全球化」的過程，對於人類所將產生的影響與衝擊，在此同時，本課程亦將從個人、公司、企業、國家、區域等不同場域來解讀人類對於「全球化」議題的回應，作法與政策對應。

| 英/日文課程大綱 |
From discussions and readings, we walk toward a fundamental understanding of Globalization. Starting by the teacher’s introduction lectures, students get the outline of Globalization and the process/reason/drives/causes of the Globalization. Readings to relevant topics are assigned to students and feedbacks/reflections are expected after in-class discussions. Political, environmental, business, economic issues and so forth in global perspectives are discoursed.
