本學期課「英文字彙與字源」提供學生學習英文字彙平台。學生課堂學習拉丁與希臘字首、字尾與字根，分析人文與科學專業詞彙，增進英語系學生英語字彙與閱讀能力。

| 英/日文課程大綱 |
It emphasizes English’s Greek and Latin elements, into which students will learn to break down English words, so that words’ meanings become apparent. Particular attention will be paid to news, professional and technical articles. The grades for the course are based on students’ attendance and participation in the in-class activities (50%), and exercises and exams (50%).
